What is vitiligo?

Vitiligo causes skin pigment loss. It usually occurs in blotches on your face, hands, or feet, but vitiligo can develop anywhere. Vitiligo isn’t usually painful, but it can cause emotional distress and anxiety for some. However, some people with vitiligo choose to embrace the condition.
