This system is considered the “next wave” in EMSCULPT® therapy. It goes beyond fat reduction to build muscle mass, tighten lax skin, and otherwise tone-resistant puffy or pudgy pockets on the body.

EMSCULPT NEO® is a dual treatment. It uses two different types of energy: heat from Radiofrequency (RF) is used to tighten skin and levels can be selected to reduce fat. Proprietary energy from HIFEM (High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic) is tuned to build muscle in a way that far exceeds what you are able to do on your own. Due to the use of such synchronized energy/therapies, we can start the process of toning, tightening, firming, and building on muscle with each 30-minute treatment session.

The radiofrequency heating component helps prepare the muscle tissue for exposure to HIFEM energy. It can be used at low or “gentle” levels to warm the muscle and get a better workout with the HIFEM portion. RF with Emsculpt NEO can also be selected at the “advanced” level to melt fat in the body while also warming the muscle and tightening skin. Such thermal energy triggers a process whereby targeted fat cells are broken down and eventually eliminated over the following month. Think of the “gentle” level as akin to “warming up” before running, lifting weights, or engaging in other physical or sports activities. This step helps to ensure that the muscle fibers are prepared for the rigorous contraction effects that are induced by HIFEM. This energy prompts muscle contractions at an intensity that cannot be achieved voluntarily through regular exercise. In fact, just one treatment session has been compared to the equivalent of 20,000 “super-maximal” contractions – considerably more than what can be achieved with any conventional workouts and exercises.

You may experience intense muscle contractions and a sensation of warmth and it is very comfortable. This is not a painful procedure and as the time and setting progress over the 30 minute treatment people often report that it is relaxing and also brings them energy and hope. Patients often compare the warm feeling to a hot stone massage. Treatment is so gentle and conservative that you can get back to your schedule right afterward, with no downtime involved.
