Does Sofwave treatment hurt?
Sofwave has built-in cooling to make the heat of the ultrasound barely noticeable for most people. The majority of our patients say they feel a bit of coldness from the comfort chiller and perhaps a tiny bit of the warm pulses on their skin. Because of the intermittent mild discomfort, individuals tend to find it a very well-tolerated option in our office. Not only do we use a cooling air blower that you get to control, but the Sofwave device has customizable comfort settings for each person and body area. We also offer a bit of topical numbing, and if a person is worried about being a little sensitive, they may choose to add Pronox to their treatment, although this is uncommonly chosen for Sofwave as it tends to be quite comfortable.
How long does a Sofwave treatment take?

A typical Sofwave session takes less than an hour, so you can squeeze it into your lunch break and still have time to grab lunch on your way back to work! Sofwave can be scheduled at any time of day in our office, as there is no downtime, and sunscreen or makeup can be easily applied after the treatment.
How long does it take to see results from Sofwave treatment?
There may be a nice subtle lifting in the first day to a week, then people usually see nice lifting by 6 weeks, and full results, due to collagen building, tend to be noted at 3 months. However, you may notice some improvement right away. At 12 weeks, the natural collagen and elastin in your skin has had time to regenerate the texture and tone of your skin.
Are there any side effects with Sofwave treatment?
When it comes to side effects, there is not a lot to worry about due to the very safe design of ultrasound energy delivery with Sofwave. There is no fat loss from this procedure. Some of our patients will describe experiencing slight redness or mild swelling immediately after treatment, but these usually go away quickly.
